The product

WRST sells a DIY mechanical watch assembly kit. The product is delivered unassembled. The buyer assembles the watch following the supplied instructions and tutorial materials.

Orders & payment

By placing an order you make a binding offer to purchase. The contract is formed when we send order confirmation. Payment is taken at checkout. Prices include VAT where applicable.

Delivery

Kits are dispatched within 2 business days of your order. You receive a tracking number once your kit has shipped.

Returns

WRST always complies with the applicable EU consumer regulations on returns and the right of withdrawal.

Conditions for return

  • In its original, sealed packaging
  • Unused and unassembled — no components removed, opened or assembled
  • In the same condition as delivered
  • Returned within 14 days of informing us

Opened or partially assembled kits

Once the sealed inner packaging is opened and assembly has begun, the right of withdrawal no longer applies (Art. 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU). This does not affect your warranty rights for defective or missing components.

Return shipping costs

For voluntary withdrawal, return shipping is your responsibility. If the kit was sent in error, materially different from described, or arrived damaged, WRST covers return shipping in full — contact us for a prepaid label.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we refund within 14 days using your original payment method. No refund fee.

Warranty

WRST always complies with the applicable EU legislation on consumer guarantees.

What is covered

  • Damage on arrival — any kit of which the parts or tools arrive damaged is fully covered.
  • Missing components — we ship the missing part free of charge.
  • Manufacturing defects — case, crystal, hands, crown, dial, tools.
  • Defective movement — replacement movement free of charge.

What is not covered

  • Damage caused during assembly due to user error (over-tightening, cracking the crystal, bending hands)
  • Drops, impacts, shock or water damage to the assembled watch
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from methods or tools not described in the WRST tutorials
  • Damage from later modifications, repairs or disassembly

Important: WRST sells an assembly kit, not a finished watch. The warranty covers the components delivered — not assembly mistakes.

Statutory rights not affected

Nothing here limits your rights under EU consumer protection law. This policy adds to, and never replaces, your legal rights.

Use of the kit

The kit is intended for users aged 16 and over, and must be assembled using only the tools and methods described in the official WRST instructions. If you are under 18, you confirm you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to make this purchase. WRST is not responsible for damage caused by deviating from these instructions.

Intellectual property

All content on wrst.store — text, images, designs and the WRST name and logo — is the property of WRST and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under Dutch or EU law. For all other matters, our liability is limited to the price paid for the kit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. The courts of the Netherlands have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights.
